My new camera cable has finaly arrived.....so here are a few summer pics.

A great big...."sorry"...... to all of you who have been trying to use our lovely

shiny web site.

We've had a few teething problems the last couple of weeks, which for once was

not my fault!!!!

It would appear that there was a server issue which thankfully is now all sorted

which now means you get to hear off me again!!! lucky you......and the

"contact us" section is now working properly and we do get your emails.

Any way, to those of you who have taken the time to fill in a comment on our guest book, thankyou very very much, it's lovely to hear from you and we hope to see you again soon.

NEWS......We have been approached by the Gourmet Society to become involved in their limited corporate benefit card, negotiations are in hand and I hope to be able to tell you all about it next week.

Until then, have a great Bank Holiday, forget the weather and enjoy the time anyway......life's too short not to!!

ooooh I almost forgot, happy 21st Birthday to our Dan, Head chef (days) and my big son.

What a fantastic weekend!!!

Did what it said in the adverts.......3 nights, 3 pigs, 3 nights of live sumer jazz with local ale and Cider and lots of happy guests!!!!

The pigs were so tender and full of flavour and the salads etc interesting and varied.

Thanks to all of you who came and made it such a huge success with great atmosphere. A special thanks to Dan A who organised the events and cooked to perfection and to all of the team who worked long and hard to keep everybody happy.

Big sorry to all of you who came at the last minute for tickets and for any of you who dropped in......really sorry, but we were full and it wouldn't have been fair to try and squeeze in any more.

The good news is that as a member of the web site you will get prior notice of the next event and of course special web  discounts......so keep an eye on your inbox!

It was my birthday on Friday and our Bens Birthday pressie was also booked for this weekend. So we took ourselves off up to home country, Stoke On Trent, for a weekend away. A great time was had by all, Ben got to drive some exotica vehicles and I got to catch up with some old mates.

Whilst we were  away, Joss and her team had an extremely busy day at the restaurant, with lots of visitors and local friends alike creating a great atmosphere. So to all our hard working girls and boys thanks for your work and care.

Finally......The HOG ROAST WEEKEND is upon us.......

the first local pig arrives tonight for marinade and prep, the ales arrive at lunch time in time to settle before service. The fresh herbs etc have already been delivered, all very exciting and to those of you who have booked we're in for a cracking time. Those who haven't booked, why not join the web site and we'll e mail you with forthcoming events and a once a month special, web customers only, offer!

Sorry to any of you who wanted to come to the Thurs Hog Roast I'm afraid there are no more Online tickets available and there is only a few left for the Saturday event now. I'm so pleased so many of you wanted to come, we're looking at hosting something in August after a high demand from customers who, for one reason or another, can't make any of the hog roast days. (so keep an eye on the web site for the adverts, better still join and we'll e mail you with the details.)

If you are wanting to come to the hog roast there are still a few tickets left for Saturday 24th July.....so best be quick!!
